Feature Stories

Delta Society is accepting submissions for feature stories for Interactions. Stories should focus on the ways companion and therapy animals (Pet Partners^®) enrich our lives. Stories are explorations of the topic (1000-1500 words long). Writers should submit a 2-paragraph suggestion for a story via email (please do not send an attachment - send it as part of the message). We must also receive examples of published writing by mail for final consideration. Pays $150 per cover story. Respond to Michelle Cobey.

Pet Partners Stories and Photos

Got a great story, but don’t feel your writing is up to par? Don’t worry! Just write from the heart and send it in. Delta’s staff will take care of the rest.

Photos need to be of professional quality for best reproduction. We cannot accept photos printed by ink-jet home computers or Polaroid^® photos. Digital photos must be at least 300dpi at the size printed (4" x 6” or larger), usually shot with a camera of at least 3.2 megapixels on the high resolution setting.
